Abstract
To grasp the present situation and children¢¥s understanding for providing the school lunch, the study was performed by equate method to 709 children of the elementary school in three areas from July I to August 31, 1970.
The analysis of the survey showed the following results:
1. The quality of school lunch provided by the school was, in general, good (95.3%).
2. Most children pointed the bread as the most delicious food (56.6%).
3. The size of bread fed to the children was very much acceptable (80.9%).
4. The children wanted to add Kimchi (Korean pickle) to the lunch menu (80.7%).
5. More effective provision of milk might be considered in the future.
